Our Story

Hi, I’m Diana Bocciolatt, founder of Little Blue Thistle.

Little Blue Thistle grew from a season of slowing down. Following a medical emergency involving my son, life shifted in ways I never expected and led me to discover an unexpected passion for flowers and the joy they bring to everyday moments.

The name Little Blue Thistle was inspired by my son’s love of the unique bloom - strong, wild, enduring, and blue. When I learned that thistle symbolizes protection, bravery, and resilience, it felt deeply aligned with our story.

Today, Little Blue Thistle brings interactive floral experiences to the Rochester and Finger Lakes region through bloom bars, workshops, pop-ups and special events. My mission is simple: to share a love of flowers, simply and beautifully, while creating opportunities for community, creativity, and connection.
